Immunity, also known as antibody, is a type of very small protein that flows in the blood. Antibodies are formed by white blood cells which aim to help the body fight bacteria or viruses in the body.
Of course knowing the condition of immunity in the body is necessary so that the body’s defenses are maintained. Types of immunity or antibodies vary and have their respective functions:
Antibodies of this type are easily found in the body. Immunoglobulin A antibodies have a role to indicate an allergic reaction in the body. Antibodies of this type are found in many parts of the body that have a mucosal layer or mucous membrane, namely in the respiratory tract or digestive tract.
A test performed on immunoglobulin A helps the doctor detect any problems with the health of a person’s kidneys , intestines, or immune system.
Antibodies of this type can be found in the lungs, skin and mucous membranes. Usually, immunoglobulin E examination is done as the first step in diagnosing allergies in a person’s body.
These antibodies react with viruses or bacteria that attack your body for the first time as the first stronghold against viruses or bacteria. When your body is detected with high immunoglobulin M, it means that there are bacteria or viruses that are in your body.
This type of antibody is found in blood and fluids in the body. If immunoglobulin M attacks viruses or bacteria that first enter the body, it is different from this type of antibody. Immunoglobulin G only reacts when a disease, virus or bacteria has invaded the body. If the virus or bacteria returns, this type of new antibody reacts and helps boost your immunity.

How Does the Immune System Work?
The immune system works when your body is detected by microorganisms or foreign substances that attack the body. A series of immune responses reacts to protect the body from infection. When antibodies are produced in a person’s body, they remain in the body for some time.
This is intended when the virus or bacteria reappears, the body already has antibodies that can be used to protect the body. Not only as protection for your body, antibodies can be used to neutralize toxins produced by organisms and activate a group of proteins called complements.
